Dr. James Lewis Bruton is a board-certified nephrologist with more than 25 years of experience serving patients throughout Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, he specializes in chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, acute kidney injury, and dialysis care. Dr. Charles Moussallem is a board-certified nephrologist with over 13 years of experience caring for patients in the Fort Smith region. He completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, Dr. Moussallem specializes in chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, glomerular diseases, acute kidney injury, and dialysis care. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered kidney care.

Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

Lisa Coker, APRN, earned her advanced practice nursing degree from Maryville University and has specialized exclusively in nephrology since becoming a nurse practitioner in 2016. Before that, she spent 13 years as a nephrology nurse. Lisa works closely with the physicians at Fort Health Partners to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. She is known for her compassionate approach, commitment to patient education, and dedication to helping patients achieve the best possible health outcomes.
